As the name suggests, the 50s&60s group is for people in their 50s and 60s. We fellowship together with great food, such as a potluck meal or barbecue. Our nights are relaxed, but always lots of fun! Newcomers are always welcome. For more info call 07 3422 8500

The Ambassadors are the Seniors at Hillsong who are retired or 50 years and over. We host picnics, themed Lunches, bus trips and holidays. More info 07 3422 8500

Hillsong is committed to improving the welfare and well being of our local community, through Community Care. This Counselling Service has been established to assist people facing various issues and challenges in their lives.

We have designed this service to be reliable, affordable and accessible by everyone. Our fee structure is; therefore, not fixed but linked to your family income.

To access our Counselling Service, please ring the Church Receptionist on 3422 8500 to make an appointment. Our Counselling Rooms are located at 16 Rover Street, Mt Gravatt.

Our Consellors have expertise in the following areas:

Family issues, Women's issues, Men's issues, Cultural issues (e.g mixed cultural marriages), Relationship issues, Issues related to disabilities, Children & adolescents, Abuse related issues, Bereavement

Crisis Care has been operating for some time now. This service provides emergency relief in the form of food vouchers and certain bill payments. Crisis Care operates within strict guidelines and eligibility requirements and is by appointment only.

This service is available Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12 Noon till 3.00pm.

The Internationals exist to reach out to people from various cultural backgrounds living in Brisbane and help them integrate into the life of Hillsong. We run a significant number of International events as well as International Connect Groups throughout the year.

All peoples from all cultural backgrounds are welcome at Hillsong!

The church has over 40 nationalities represented in the congregation. They enjoy being part of one Australian Church where all the nations gather together during the weekend services and in the children & youth events, but with the freedom to also gather as Indonesians, Filipinos, Koreans, Islanders, Brazilians, Chinese, Indian, Sri-Lankan , Middle Eastern, Europeans, Africans, Latinos, Canadians, Americans, Japanese...

Our church has just started to provide language translation to those who are less proficient in English. Already interpreters translate live into Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesian, Korean and Spanish.

The Deaf Ministry has a special services in Auslan (1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month at 10.30am in Conference Room 3). In the main auditorium on the 3rd Sunday morning of each month, at 10:30am, our services will be interpreted by NAATI accredited volunteers.

We have been pleased to offer this service now for almost 30 years, and we would love to welcome you if you are looking for somewhere to fellowship.

Our Deaf Ministry meets the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month at 10.30am in Conference Room 3, underneath the Pastors' Offices and the Chapel, to the right of the main auditorium building. Services are in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). Voice interpreting may be available if you contact us to let us know you need it.

Our English Conversation Classes are a free service to non-English speaking people
which helps them to learn basic English language and communication skills.

All non-native English speakers who wish to practice their English skills are welcome, regardless of culture, religion or age.

When: Every Monday and Wednesday morning (Except school / public holidays)
Time: 9.30am to 12 Noon

Cost: All Classes are Free

Level of Classes: 3 levels - Elementary, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate

MiA includes Life Groups which do life together and have open topics of discussion to strengthen every marriage. Here is a place where you can ask questions about finances, sexuality, communication, conflict, parenting, in-laws, leisure time, family of origin, spirituality, expectations and chores. Don’t neglect your marriage. Make time for one another - be practical. Don’t overload yourselves emotionally, physically or financially. Protect your privacy and time alone as a couple. Realize that any unfulfilled dreams may cause problems in your marriage. We discuss these with one another in an easy safe Life Group setting.

Prepare

Even though you may be very busy with wedding preparations, it is critical that you make time to prepare for your lifetime together by exploring your relationship in more depth. Prepare is the entry level where we take you through areas to prepare you for marriage 6 months prior to your special day.
